Revit BIM (Building Information Modeling) software developed by worldwide leading design Software Company Autodesk Inc.  After successfully releasing Autodesk Revit 2019 in 2018, Autodesk’s revit team working on latest version Revit 2020 Features for more advance and enhancements. Autodek Revit 2020 comes through with new features in the latest version of Revit. After autodesk taling users review they are focusing on these three ares; Creating, Optimizing and connecting. Features;

  • New PDF underlay support: In Revit 2020, you can insert a PDF into Revit from any source and snap to the PDF to model new elements based on the 2D data type.
  • New Path of travel: In Revit 2020, you can understand how people will move in a building or navigate a space to analyze design performance.
  • New Elliptical walls: You can create more advanced wall geometry with the ability to draw elliptical walls and curtain walls.
  • New schedule, Tag, and view filter:  You can schedule In Revit 2020 of elevation of elements and use those values in view filters and streamlining the ability to interact with elements in the properties palette. 
  • Create parts from imported geometry: In Revit 2020, now imported geometry (direct shapes) can now be split into parts. You can make cuts and adjustments to parts using Revit opening and cut tools.
  • Copy and paste legends across sheets: In Revit 2020, improved copy-and-paste functionality for legends lets you efficiently copy legends for use in other locations.
  • New Steel connections for Dynamo: In Revit 2020, Use Dynamo to accelerate the insertion of multiple steel connections based on user-defined rules. 
  • New Electrical panel feed through lugs connection: In Revit 2020, Model the connection of panels through feed-through lugs, more accurately documenting the system design.
  • New Revit extension for fabrication exports: In Revit 2020, you can Generate CSV output to be used in spreadsheets or other data environments directly from Revit.
  • Change service improvement: In Revit 2020, you can change service now allows multi-shape services to be preserved or replaced in a single operation.
  • Enhanced multi-rebar annotation: In Revit 2020, you can use multi-rebar annotations for planar parallel freeform rebar sets and concrete faces.
